Traffic congestion in Stafford can be awful, if I am to be polite. From ill-timed roadworks to us being the M6 bypass, travel across a medium sized town can be a challenge.
Perhaps install more box junctions with monitoring cameras, to stop selfish idiots trailing back across junctions and blocking the way for others?
Yes, people would be rather upset at first, to receive fines for this, but they would learn.
They would also learn that blocking the road doesn't really get them where they want to go any faster. Being considerate isn't such a bad thing, eh?
More useful than the speed... I mean revenue... oops, I mean safety cameras.
Is this Loony?
